About Us
Triad Residential Solutions is a supported living organization
with over 30 years of experience in the MR/DD field. We started
in Northwest Ohio with both of the co-owners previously working
for a county board of MR/DD. With a growing wealth of knowledge
and a day to day view of provider selection, neither owner could
understand what was so hard about providing quality service
while keeping the consumer as the focus point. So the question
was pitched: “If it’s so easy, why don’t you do it?”, and Triad
was born.
Triad believes in
an approach of inclusion with client, family, friends and
staff. This method allows for valuable input concerning all
aspects of an individual’s care. All members of our teams are
certified in CPR and First Aid and also receive a background
check. They are required to meet the standards set by the state
of Ohio as well as our organization, including client specific
training. We recognize the importance of continuing education
as well as following the ever changing rules and regulations set
forth on county and state levels. Staffs’ training and
experience although crucial, is insignificant without the
assistance of the other team members: family, clients, and
friends. Family and friends know the wants, needs and desires
of our clients in a way that could take staff years to know and
understand since they have the emotional bond that we strive as
a company to achieve. Our clients receive freedom of choice and
when requested we provide any knowledge or insight to assist
with those choices.
Triad Residential
Solutions services clients in a residential environment of their
own, not one owned and operated by the company. We show the
families respect at all times since we are invited guests that
are only there to provide services as needed.
While providing services and supports that
involve normal everyday tasks and skills, we also try to offer
more to the consumer. We are constantly looking to bring our
clients into the community for events and outings that encourage
learning and offer recreation. We have been blessed by the
kindness of local businesses that offer additional discounts to
make more activities available to our clients.
Triad saw a need
when it began its journey in Toledo, Ohio. The journey
continues across northeast Ohio and with constant growth
we will expand in other regions as well. The northeast Ohio
branch of T.R.S. was established in 2003 and now services many clients
with a dedicated staff. We at Triad want to help as many people
as we can.
Todd Frick our
President and co-owner, has worked on many committees across the
state including in Columbus. With an MBA in business and a
strong accounting background, he is what keeps Triad’s business
affairs on track. Todd strongly understands and always instills
in his employees that it is better to make less profit and
provide a better service. “If you do the right thing, for the
right reason, then everything else will work out.” Triad
Residential Solutions is a social service company setup in a
very business sound way.
Sandy Andrews, our
vice president and co-owner is a licensed social worker who has
retired from “Service and Support Administration” (known as Case
Management at the time). With her strong knowledge of the
Individual Service Plan (ISP), its relation to Ohio Revised
Code, SSD, SSI, and many other available programs, she is a
strong advocate for all people with disabilities.
Our Residential
Directors, Brock Overstreet and Margie Boone, are actively
involved in all aspects of the organization. Our Directors’
philosophy of treating all of our clients with dignity and
respect has made them an example to all of the direct care staff
across the state. Both are proudly two of the initial employees
of the company as it began its venture in Toledo, Ohio. With
Brock’s own family living in Northeast Ohio, he gladly relocated
to take on his position in Northeast Ohio. Their years of
dedication and service are a testament to there own values and
beliefs.
